Born and raised in Sandy, Utah. With over 10 years of personal and 3 years of professional photography experience, I fell in love with photographing anything that came my way.
I’m 32 years old, born and raised in the wonderful state of Utah with the best mountainscapes & wildlife around! In the beginning of 2019 I decided to make the pivotal movement of turning my once hobby into a career with the support of my husband and family by my side, I left my life of being an Optician behind to become a Stay at home mom of one handsome son while I gathered my gear up and put my game plan in motion.
Back track to the Moment in my life that brought photography to a new horizon.
Growing up I always had a disposable camera in hand, I opted out of other electives in high school in order to always maintain photography on the list and even went to work in a portrait studio for a few years. Somehow between the hustle & bustle of life, I lost site of this passion until I had my son, I had this newfound glory for the passion I set aside for so long and realized all the things we can miss out on when we’re too busy living.
Fast forward to August 2020 where Jenise Ivy Photography launches off the ground! And now I am here to give other’s the opportunity to step away from their busy lives to enjoy the moments; the milestones while I capture the precious memories this life has to offer with their loved ones!
As a mom and wife, I know how incredibly important it is to capture all of the stages of life. Whether that's a couples session in a new relationship, an engagement session, your baby announcement and maternity sessions and all of those family sessions with the kiddos & pets.
